Baby-nanny to work shifts with a 7 month old baby

We’re now looking for a flexible nanny to work shifts looking after a baby aged 7 months old when the position starts in September. Both parents work shifts and they need a nanny to cover about 20 hours/week when their shifts overlap. The schedule will be set months in advance though the parents receive their schedules with long notice. The hours will vary greatly. The nanny could be starting as early as 4am on occasion and sometimes finish at 2am. Most shifts will be about 8 hour shifts but there will be some shorter and longer shifts from 3 to 13 hours as well. The schedule will be mainly Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday if the nanny is happy to work Saturdays too. The nanny will never be required to work on a Sunday. The family is able to guarantee 20 hours/week.

The family is looking for a reliable and caring nanny with previous experience in looking after children about the same age. Someone who is happy to create a stimulating environment at home for the little girl and on occasion take her out to a park or some activities when she gets a bit older and needs more social interaction. At the moment the girl is breast-fed but also bottle feeds well with expressed milk. The family will soon start weaning her and a nanny with experience in weaning is desirable. A caring and loving nanny would suit their little baby girl who is a happy girl. She is used to being around other people though she’s been in nursery for 3 months. But the family is now looking for a nanny though a nursery can’t cover all the hours they need help.

The family lives in Brentford, just off Ealing Road. Closest tube station is South Ealing or Northfields, or trains to Brentford or Kew Bridge. The family anticipates that a driver might be needed to be able to get to and from the family for the early starts and late finishes unless the person lives close by or within an area of good 24 hours communications. 

Salary depends on experience and qualifications but will be above £10 nph.
